Advancing innovation and safety in pain education, patient care and research

The mission of Pain Assessment and Management Initiative (PAMI®) is advancing innovation and safety in pain education, patient care, and research. PAMI focuses on incorporating nonpharmacologic and nonopioid modalities to improve pain outcomes and reduce opioid risk in patients and special populations, such as older adults, patients with health disparities or at risk for substance abuse, trauma, and postoperative patients. PAMI related research studies focus on pain health disparities and pharmacogenomics.

Our current projects are:

  1. Pain Coach Educator Program and Integrative Pain Management Toolkits
